The intersection between Mehringdamm and Dudenstraße is one of the liveliest places in Berlin. Directly opposite - in place of the air bridge – an historical account is given to us of the Airlift Memorial.

... And landed now extends Tempelhof Field. A huge area in the middle of Berlin, it is a popular location for skating, taking a stroll, relaxing or just to feel the emptiness of the place itself. (Five minutes walk)
A stroll to the southwest will soon land you in Kreuzberg’s Victoria Park. From Kreuzberg, which gives its name to the famous district, you are able to look across the rooftops of Berlin – in one glance you can see all the sights. (Seven minutes walk)
Then follow Mehringdamm to Bergmann street. The Bergmannkiez is one of the busiest corners of West Berlin and is array with wide-ranging options to explore. Cafes, restaurants and bars are open for relaxation in between meandering around little boutiques, antique stores, record shops and many more. take the U6 and travel further up the city, on this line you pass through only four stations before you reach the city centre or six stops has you crossing Friedrichstrasse / Unter den Linden. The heart of the capital is thus reached in a few minutes. From there the line goes to Alexanderplatz, TV Tower or the barn area.
No problem, you are there. There you will be close to the victory column or on the legendary boulevard of Kurfürstendamm.
